Vodder Terms of Service
Effective October 19, 2026. Version 2026-10-19.
Vodder is an independently operated service based in Wisconsin. It lets users organize YouTube video references and discuss videos through timed notes, replies and drawings. Support and reporting: support@vodder.watch.
Age requirement and conduct
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vodder. By selecting the acknowledgment and continuing, you confirm that you meet this requirement and agree to these terms. This also applies to current testers. Read our Privacy Notice, which explains our information practices. If you cannot agree or are under 18, do not continue using the service; you can still export/delete your account or contact support for assistance. Reports of underage accounts can lead to suspension and a privacy/deletion review. We do not request birth dates or identity documents for the acknowledgment. YouTube and Discord have their own separate rules.
User discussions are not continuously reviewed or screened before posting. Reports can lead to investigation, account suspension, hidden notes or revoked private-video access. An 18+ rule does not mean reports will be ignored. A support/report link is available without signing in.
Do not use Vodder for harassment, threats, impersonation, illegal content, privacy violations, spam, malicious code or attempts to evade access controls. Only share content and links you have permission to share. Follow the source providers' rules for their services. Contact support with the relevant link, timestamp and description when reporting a problem.
Accounts and tiers
Sign in through Discord and keep access to that account secure. Free allows two owned videos and five owned/joined playlists combined. Premium allows ten videos and unlimited playlists; Ultra allows unlimited videos/playlists, subject to the service's technical/abuse limits. Early adopters previously received Ultra. Paid upgrades and subscription billing are not currently offered by Vodder. Deleting and recreating an account does not restore its previous tier or early-adopter status automatically.
Suspension blocks new sign-ins and existing authenticated sessions. If an account is restored, it must sign in again. Contact support about a suspension. Account suspension does not automatically remove all earlier content; content moderation is a separate action.
Sharing and contributions
Vodder public/private settings control access to Vodder's discussion and metadata. They do not alter a video's YouTube visibility, availability or embedding restrictions. Public Vodder watch pages still require sign-in; playlist share pages may be anonymous. Private videos require owner approval unless you own them. Playlist membership alone does not override private-video access.
Treat share links as links intended for their recipients. Owners can rotate/revoke playlist links and manage members and editing roles. Revoking a link leaves existing members in place unless they are removed separately. Independent copies can persist after the original is deleted. Information another person has already seen or copied cannot be recalled by a link change.
You retain any rights you have in your notes/drawings. You give Vodder permission to store, display to the permitted audience, back up and moderate submitted contributions as needed to operate the service according to its settings and Privacy Notice. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or the source videos. After deletion, backup/security copies can remain as explained in the Privacy Notice.
Data controls and availability
Profile provides account-data export and a deliberate deletion flow. The deletion page explains which records disappear, what happens to shared replies/copies, and why backup/security records can remain separately. It does not delete the Discord account or YouTube source. Historical notes without proven ownership require support review rather than guessing from a name.
The site and provider integrations can fail, change or be unavailable; users can report faults to support. No uninterrupted-service or response-time promise is made here. Any change to current limits, service operation or published rules should be communicated clearly before it affects users where appropriate.
You may stop using Vodder at any time and use the account export/deletion controls. We may restrict access or remove content for violations, security issues or legal requirements. Contact support to request review of a moderation decision. Material changes to these terms will be identified by a new version and communicated through the service; continued authenticated use will require acknowledgment of that version. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
